Take one giant step inside any branch this summer for out-of-this-world activities, events and giveaways.

Summer Reading Club is all about space this year. Climb aboard for a galactical celebration with out-of-this-world activities, events and giveaways. Get your reading tracker, book and find out what's on board at your favourite branch this summer. The fun begins at all 23 branches, on the Bookmobile and online June 28. But you can register starting June 10 and any time after that to the end of August. More details at hpl.ca/src.

About the library

The Freelton Branch was established in 1978, replacing a deposit station. The Branch moved to its present location in 1995. Freelton Branch offers materials for children, teens and adults including books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and more. Services include programming for children. Public Internet access computers also include adult and children’s software applications.
