Interactive storytelling with drums and riddles.
Drums et al presents this musical program that simulates the ancient African tradition of gathering children under the moonlight for stories and riddles. Children will follow along using provided drums, learning simple rhythm and drumming styles. They'll hear tales of Anansi the clever spider, Ijapa the cunning turtle and other colorful characters.
This is a drop-in event with limited space. First-come, first-served.

The Kenilworth Branch opened in 1932. Its architecture was based on the former Boys and Girls House of the Toronto Public Library. This historical branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults. Kenilworth Branch was most recently renovated in 2012.
