Ancaster Branch
Ancaster - Murray Ferguson RoomPlay with light and contrast through silhouette and shadow-based art.
This drop-in creative program explores the bold, expressive world of silhouette and shadow art.
This program invites participants to consider the power of outlines and shadows to communicate emotion, movement, or narrative. Projects can include paper cut silhouettes, layered shadow compositions and light-and-dark drawing techniques. Accessible, calming and visually striking, this program works well for beginners and confident creators alike.
Ancaster Branch
The Ancaster Branch first opened in 1955. The branch moved several times over the following decade. The library arrived at its current location on Wilson Street in 1967 as a Centennial project. Completely renovated in 2006, the branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
