Group Theraplay is a free eight-week program for families with children aged 3 years and 9 months to 6 years. This session runs from Wednesday March 4- Wednesday April 22 (in-branch March 11-April 22).
This fun, interactive program is led by a mental health professional (Child and Adolescent Services) and a Public Health nurse. It’s designed to build on the parent-child relationship through play. The goal is to help children feel safe, secure and supported in building emotional and behavioural regulation skills.

The Sherwood Branch was opened as a storefront in a small plaza on Upper Ottawa Street in November 1966. In 1981, the Branch expanded and eventually moved to a larger and brighter facility in June 1991. Sherwood Branch was most recently renovated in 2010.
