Hands-on fun with water science.
Follow a water droplet’s journey as it is pumped from Lake Ontario to a reservoir on the escarpment and then as it flows down into people’s homes. Includes an at-home experiment, science demonstration and hands-on fun. It was more than 160 years ago, when Hamiltonians celebrated the new Water Works: a huge building and pumping engine built to provide residents with clean, safe drinking water. Presented by Museum of Steam and Technology.
