It's like a book club, but for films. Watch a National Film Board of Canada documentary at nfb.ca, then join an online discussion about it. Not Criminally Responsible is about a man seeking an absolute discharge from a forensic psychiatric facility 12 years after stabbing someone. His victim is terrified to learn that he’s already out, living in the community under supervision. The film looks at both sides of the debate and puts a human face on the complex ethical issues raised. After you register, an invitation with instructions on how to join the online group follows via email. It will include a link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting at the scheduled date and time.
