This week the Peter Banting Swingtet takes the virtual stage. The eight-piece band plays Broadway tunes and big band music of the 20th century. This Christmas concert was recorded at Hamilton’s Laidlaw Memorial United Church in 2019. The musicians are: John Stephen, guitar, vocals, announcer; Urmas Soomet, bass; James Locke, drums, organ; David Crown, trumpet, flugelhorn; Ruth St. Amand, trumpet, flugelhorn; Larry Cote, alto saxophone; Rudy Wasylenky, tenor saxophone and Keith Kindree, trombone, interim leader.
