Auspicious Debuts

Hamilton's annual weekend literary festival is Apr 15-18. Virtually meet 29 authors and participate in 30 events and eight writing workshops.

Releasing a book into the world can be exciting, challenging, and, let’s face it, terrifying — especially for a debut author. In Auspicious Debuts, we’ll hear from first-time authors Dallas Hunt (Creeland), Cherie Jones (How the One-Armed Sister Sweeps Her House), and Nisha Patel (Coconut), who will read from their new books and discuss their experiences as newly published writers.
