Meet with Hamilton Regional Indian Centre staff to learn about the Wasa Nabin program for youth ages 13-18. Wasa Nabin means to look ahead. It is a one-to-one program focused on traditional cultural teachings. Also, learn about the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program, which supports healthy pregnancies for Aboriginal mothers and their babies up to six months of age.
The Kenilworth Branch opened in 1932. Its architecture was based on the former Boys and Girls House of the Toronto Public Library. This historical branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults. Kenilworth Branch was most recently renovated in 2012.
