One-on-one information sessions for Newcomers about settling in Canada.
YWCA Hamilton provides eligible clients with one-on-one information sessions to help make informed decisions about settlement in Canada. This includes targeted sessions specific to client needs, such as immigration, legal services, citizenship, housing, health care, education, employment, gender-based services, volunteer opportunities and other community supports.
The Library Settlement Partnership is a free, drop-in service open to ALL newcomers. Sessions are available in English and Arabic and interpretation in additional languages is available upon request.
Taking its name from the historic Red Hill Creek area, the Red Hill Branch opened in February 1969. The Branch moved to its current location in the plaza in 1983. To meet the demands of the growing community, it was renovated in 2000.
