A fun, evidence-based program to help your child build strong reading habits. For children in Senior Kindergarten to Grade 3.
Work with trained teen volunteers through a series of structured lessons that focus on reading decodable books, practicing phonics skills through games, and reviewing letter sounds — all while building confidence in a fun, seven-week program. Presented in partnership with International Dyslexia Association Ontario.

A newly built, 12,000-square-foot Valley Park Branch opened May 5, 2022. Now four-times the size of its 30-year-old predecessor, it features a Makerspace, an interior courtyard, three quiet study rooms and two 1,500 square-foot rooms for library programming.
