All residential property owners are required to submit a mandatory occupancy declaration for the 2025 tax year, including your principal residence. As property’s occupancy may change year-over-year; an annual declaration ensures the City has accurate information about how residential properties are being used.

The Sherwood Branch was opened as a storefront in a small plaza on Upper Ottawa Street in November 1966. In 1981, the Branch expanded and eventually moved to a larger and brighter facility in June 1991. Sherwood Branch was most recently renovated in 2010.
