Parents and caregivers learn about the Ontario education system, including student assessments, school holidays and ways to communicate with teachers and educators. It is open to those who identify as women, are gender-diverse or non-binary, and are Permanent Residents, Protected persons/Convention Refugees, and/ or Ukrainian Nationals or their dependents in Canada. Opened in May 1908, Barton Branch was first in the Hamilton Public Library system. The Branch occupied several permanent and temporary locations over the next 50 years, before it moved to its present location in November 1963. Barton Branch was most recently renovated in 2011.
