Community Connectors collaborate with other organizations within the City of Hamilton to access person-specific services and resources such as physical/mental wellness, transportation to/from medical/specialty appointments, financial instability, food insecurity, faith/cultural activities, therapeutic recreation, education, employment, legal aid, ID help and addictions and harm reduction.
Identification or a fixed address is not required.
Community Connectors are with the Shelter Health Network and HAMSMaRT in partnership with Good Shepherd.
Taking its name from the historic Red Hill Creek area, the Red Hill Branch opened in February 1969. The Branch moved to its current location in the plaza in 1983. To meet the demands of the growing community, it was renovated in 2000.
