As property’s occupancy may change year-over-year; an annual declaration ensures the City has accurate information about how residential properties are being used.
Complete your residential Vacant Unit Tax Declaration by April 15, 2026. Presented by the City of Hamilton Vacant Unit Tax Team. For more information, please contact the VUT team by email at vacantunittax@hamilton.ca or by phone at 905-546-2573.
