Indigenous drumming with Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg
Join staff from Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg for an Indigenous drumming program for children ages 6-12. Children will be introduced to teachings around Indigenous hand drums and traditional songs and stories. Throughout the program, children will have the opportunity to participate in group drumming and learn about the history and significance of Indigenous hand drums and the role they play in Indigenous culture.
This program will provide children with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Indigenous culture. Join us for a fun and enriching experience that celebrates the beauty and diversity of Indigenous culture through music and storytelling!

The Stoney Creek Branch opened in January 2003 on the first floor of the former Stoney Creek City Hall, which is now owned by the RCMP. It is an amalgamation of the Winona and old Stoney Creek branches.
