Explore pattern-based art.
This art program explores the beauty and structure of pattern and repetition in visual art. Experiment with repeated shapes, lines and motifs to create decorative, abstract, or symbolic artwork.
Accessible and soothing, this activity is ideal for those who enjoy focused, meditative projects or want to explore visual balance and order.
The Ancaster Branch first opened in 1955. The branch moved several times over the following decade. The library arrived at its current location on Wilson Street in 1967 as a Centennial project. Completely renovated in 2006, the branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
