This week Gunter Ott performs live at the Barton Branch. Gunter is a Hamilton musician (singer/guitarist) who plays a mix of early rock ‘n’ roll and blues. As a solo act he is known as Daddi-O and emphasizes the music of the fifties – Buddy Holly, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, the Everly Brothers, early Beatles.

Opened in May 1908, Barton Branch was first in the Hamilton Public Library system. The Branch occupied several permanent and temporary locations over the next 50 years, before it moved to its present location in November 1963. Barton Branch was most recently renovated in 2011.
